The Philosophy and Meaning of the UAI Logo
The UAI logo consists of: (1) a symbol and (2) a called name typeface as a corporate signature. The name “Universitas Al-Azhar Indonesia” is a corporate name, and is not part of the signature.
The UAI logo has a religious meaning. In the symbol, the letter A has a basic spiritual meaning, namely Allah, and has an “excellent” image, because the value of “A” is the highest value in the assessment. The blue box is taken from the philosophy of the measured and systematic form of the Kaaba. Blue is the color of educational institutions that have a professional, exclusive, elegant and excellent image.
